ONE DONE, ONE TO DO!

My marriage has certainly reached new heights this morning.
My husband exited the bathroom at 6.30am to find me sitting bolt upright in bed, glasses perched on the end of my nose with knitting in hand as I decreased the toe section of this sock.

His face was a picture of astonishment and he questioned, " Is that it, once that's finished?"
"Of course not" I replied, trying hard to focus with my not quite awake eyes, "I've got to make the other one yet!"

He left for work and I muttered and tutted as the sock finally reached it's near conclusion.

Only one more week of madness!

  1. Ha ha, your husband is fabulous ,you are great .I suffer from the dreaded second sock syndrome a condition that means I can never make the other side.

  2. That knitting bug has really got you! Remember the days when you only bought wool when you had a pattern and didn't have a stash of wool?

  3. That made me chuckle! why? Coz on Sunday my husband (who gets up earlier that I can or do) came back upstairs with a mug of coffee for me and instead of waking me up, found me sitting in bed knitting like a fury! (think it might have something to do with the rapidly decreasing number of days til chrimbly time!)

  5. That did make me giggle! The things we do. If you find a moment to do a little knitting well, you must seize it! I am in awe of anyone who can knit socks. I hope you get the second one done in time. x
